This policy applies to the website www.festadomarisco.es and to the visitor app app.festadomarisco.es.

What data we process and why

  • Contact form: name, email address, subject and message, to answer your enquiry. The message is emailed to the Concello's tourist office and stored on the website. For security and to prevent abuse, the date and the IP address it is sent from are also recorded.
  • Comments on news items: name, email address and comment text, to moderate and publish it. Only the name and the comment are published, once approved; the email address is never shown. The date and IP address are also recorded.
  • App prize draws: name, telephone number and, optionally, Instagram username, to run the draw and contact the winner, according to the rules of each draw. Only one entry per telephone number is allowed and, to prevent mass entries, the IP address is recorded. If you win, only your first name and, if you gave it, your Instagram username are published; your telephone number is never published.
  • Menu list: the products you add to the list are stored only in your browser (pedido cookie, 24 hours) to show you the QR code you present at the stand. It is not an online order: nothing is stored on the website and no payment or personal data is requested.
  • Your location on the app map: only if you tap the location button, your browser asks for permission and uses your position to show you on the map. Your position is not sent to the website or stored.
  • Our own visit statistics: we count which pages of the website and the app are visited, from what type of device, browser and language, and from which other website visitors arrive, without cookies and without storing IP addresses or browser details. To count distinct visitors we use a code that changes every day and cannot identify anyone or follow them from one day to the next. The detail is deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.
  • Google Analytics: only if you accept it in the cookie notice, Google Analytics collects data about your browsing (pages visited, device, approximate location) using cookies. See the Cookie policy.
  • Technical logs: as with any website, the server automatically records the IP address, the page requested and the browser, for security and troubleshooting.

Legal basis

For the contact form, comments, prize draws, Google Analytics and third-party services, your consent, which you give by ticking the box on each form or in the cookie notice and may withdraw at any time. For our own statistics and technical logs, the public interest in providing, improving and securing the Concello's tourist information service.

How long we keep the data

  • Contact messages: as long as needed to answer your enquiry and, afterwards, for the periods required by archiving and administrative procedure law.
  • Comments: while they are published on the news item. Rejected comments are deleted.
  • Prize draws: once the prize has been awarded, the name, telephone number, Instagram username and IP address of participants who did not win are deleted. The winner's data are kept as long as needed to justify the award.
  • Own statistics: detail, 90 days; daily totals without personal data, indefinitely.

You can ask at any time for your data to be deleted (see “Your rights”).

Recipients

No data are disclosed to third parties unless required by law. The following process data on behalf of the Concello:

  • The web hosting provider.
  • Google Ireland Ltd., only if you accept analytics cookies or the Google Maps map.
  • Curator.io, which displays the Instagram wall, only if you accept third-party services.

In addition, to display fonts, icons, maps and the live camera, some pages download resources from Google Fonts, cdnjs (Cloudflare), jsDelivr, OpenStreetMap, Esri (ArcGIS) and CRTVG. These services receive your IP address in order to deliver the content. Google and Cloudflare may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to rexistro@concellodogrove.es or by submitting a request at the Concello do Grove registry office. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
