The 63rd O Grove Seafood Festival draws to a close after twelve days of food, music and tradition

The 63rd O Grove Seafood Festival has brought the curtain down on another edition characterised by large numbers of visitors, a festive atmosphere and a focus on Galician cuisine, cementing its status once again as one of Galicia’s major gastronomic and tourist events.

Held from 1 to 12 October, the festival has once again transformed O Grove into a meeting place for thousands of people from different parts of Spain and abroad, who have enjoyed the quality of the seafood on offer and a wide-ranging programme of activities.

Over the course of twelve days, locals and visitors alike were able to sample some of the most iconic specialities of our cuisine, such as octopus, scallops, razor clams, scallops and seafood rice, in an atmosphere that blends tradition, culture and celebration.

The musical programme, cultural activities, events suitable for all ages and the various organised events have helped to bring the town to life, reaffirming the festive nature and international profile of this celebration.

On behalf of the organising committee, we would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who made this year’s festival possible: visitors, staff, shellfish gatherers, hospitality professionals, partners, participating organisations, municipal services and, of course, the residents of O Grove.

The 63rd Festa do Marisco draws to a close with our sights set on 2027, renewing our commitment to promoting our seafood, our culinary tradition and the hospitality that characterises O Grove.

Thank you for joining us for another year! See you at the 64th Festa do Marisco!
