2026 poster
30/12/2025 — 1 Comments
The official poster for the 2026 Shellfish Festival, a work by the Grove-based artist Pablo Ozores, known as Pablo Ozo, which marks a visual departure from previous editions. The creator was chosen directly after the traditional poster competition was declared void.
The illustration breaks completely with the festival's usual aesthetic, opting for an image with a strong symbolic charge and its own personality. The hands of the shellfish women occupy the foreground as a tribute to their essential labour, while in the background, the arches of the Grove fish market emerge, as a connection to the territory and the seafaring tradition.
The artist maintains his unmistakable style, but adapts it to the institutional commission, offering a poster that stands out for its visual impact and its departure from the norm, opening a new chapter in the festival's graphic image.
The presentation was attended by the Mayor, José Cacabelos, and the Councillor for Tourism, María López, who highlighted the artistic quality of the poster and its ability to represent the essence of The Grove from a different perspective.
